BRIEF

what is the brief?

Our brief for NEA our task was to make or design a double page magazine spreadsheet for teenagers mostly aimed at 14-18 years old which is going to be really fun as music has been such a big part of my childhood so it will be fun to explore different genres of music. I always listen to music literally every day of my life.

what are you looking forward too?

One thing I am looking forward to is how to improve my knowledge and skills in photoshop as I think it is the best software out there. secondary I like using different tools to take pictures or I like taking pictures from different angles and lighting but I would like to improve on my skills on taking pictures and how and where to take my pictures and if the lighting is correct. lastly, I hope that my magazine will be suitable for my audience and I hope they like it.

what are you not looking for?

what I am not looking forward to most I will end up being slow as I have previously made this mistake many times which led me to incomplete blogs. but this time I will work at a fast pace but still not rush my NEA.

what are you looking forward to improving on from your prelim?

I want to improve my timing as I felt I ended up rushing my prelim at the end this would definitely not happen again and also I want to research deeply into the genre of my music magazine because my prelim I didn't do much genre research which made me not make my mind up at the end of my project.

Initial ideas of what you will produce?

Firstly, I want my magazine to use conventions of a music magazine but I need it to stand out. I want to create a music magazine which will look very simple but unique compared to other magazines.
